Tracking & Insurance


While buying or trading, you have two options: tracked mail or untracked mail.


The recommendation will always be tracked mail. If the package or letter is lost in transit, the mail carrier can follow up with an investigation. Without tracking, nothing can be done to find and recover your lost package. 


With tracking, you typically receive package insurance for up to X amount of dollars. Insurance means that you are compensated for lost packages, damage or missing contents. As a seller, insurance is important because it means you don't have to suffer the loss of money nor product. The money you are compensated will reimburse you for what you have to refund back to the customer.


If you need to add on additional insurance, you can request to do so. For example, insurance usually covers up to $100. If your package contents are valued at $250, then you can request to add an additional $150 in insurance. Please keep in mind there will be a fee.
